Pietro Salis is an associate professor of theoretical philosophy (SSD PHIL-01/A) in the department of Education, Psychology, Philosophy of the University of Cagliari. His research interests focus on epistemology, philosophy of language, and philosophy of mind. He has published works mostly on meaning, truth, representation, and normativity. He studied in Cagliari, where he obtained his PhD in 'Philosophical Disciplines' (2006) with a dissertation with the title 'Concepts, inferences, and representations' and in Warwick, where he obtained an MA in 'Philosophy of mind' in 2009. He was a visiting scholar at the University of Pittsburgh in 2018.
