Graduated in Law from the University of Cagliari on June 30, 1988, with a thesis titled The Contract with an Indeterminate Subject under the supervision of Professor Angelo Luminoso, achieving a final grade of 110/110 with honors.

Since the fall of 1988, has been actively contributing to the Rivista Giuridica Sarda with scientific articles (co-edited by Professors Angelo Luminoso, Luigi Concas, and Costantino Murgia). Appointed editor in 1991 and member of the Editorial Board in January 1997. As part of this role, has managed the selection of noteworthy rulings from local courts for commentary and reviewed scientific contributions for publication. Authored several commentaries on rulings across various areas of private law.

Following graduation, began in-depth studies on several civil law topics, particularly the indeterminacy of contractual parties and other issues covered in the Civil Law course. These included agency agreements, general contract law, contractual liability, tort liability, and sales contracts. Interest in the indeterminacy of contractual parties led to an in-depth study of the contract for the account of whomever it may concern, culminating in a published essay.

Shortly after graduation, in 1989, while continuing his civil law studies and active participation in the Civil Law department, received a scholarship through a competitive exam from the Sardinian Regional Authority to attend the Scuola Superiore della Pubblica Amministrazione in Cagliari (April 1990–January 1991). Graduated on January 15, 1991, with top marks and a thesis titled Environmental Damage: Concept and Initial Judicial Interpretations.

In 1991, participated in research on The Relational Profiles of Administration: Analysis of Procedures and Typification of Models of Relationships Between Local Authorities and Between Local Authorities and the Region under the scientific direction of Professors Piero Ciarlo, Carlo Marzuoli, Mario Dogliani, and Mario Iori. This project culminated in a published volume. Contributed to data collection, analysis, and systematization, drafting the introductory report and sections related to Commerce, Industry, Craftsmanship, and Tourism.

Qualified as a lawyer at the Court of Appeal of Cagliari in 1991 and currently practices law, registered with the Cagliari Bar Association.

In 1992, received a scholarship from CIS (Sardinian Industrial Credit Institution, now CIS Bank) to research the Legal Nature of Sardinian Industrial Credit. This research resulted in a published article.

In 1993, received a scholarship from Banco di Sardegna for a systematic study on Contracts for the Account of Whomever It May Concern and the broader topic of indeterminate contractual parties.

Appointed researcher in 1994 (disciplinary group N01) at the Faculty of Economics, University of Cagliari, confirmed in 1997.

Participated in several three-year research projects directed by Professor Angelo Luminoso and funded by the Ministry of University and Scientific and Technological Research (MURST). These projects covered topics such as Sales Contracts, Mediation, Preliminary Contract Registration, and Consumer Contracts.

Also collaborated on three-year research projects under Professor Nicola Corbo on topics like Negotiable Formalism and State Responsibility for Incomplete or Incorrect Transposition of EU Law.

Directed local research projects on topics including Termination in Contracts for Works or Services and Contracts for the Account of Whomever It May Concern.

Contributed to the national project Res Signata and Electronic Signature, led by Professor Lucio Moscarini.

From 1996 to 1998, studied issues related to contract object determination, particularly in supply contracts. These studies resulted in an article published in Contratto e Impresa.

Assisted Professor Nicola Corbo in organizing conferences on Jurisdictional Allocation in Private Law and Preventive Consumer Protection.

Appointed Associate Professor in 2002 (disciplinary sector IUS-01) at the Faculty of Economics, University of Cagliari, confirmed in 2006.

Contributed to preparing the Code of Sale, directed by Professors Vincenzo Buonocore and Angelo Luminoso, and the Code of Private Procurement, under Professor Angelo Luminoso. Authored several sections, including those on risk transfer and transitory rules.

TEACHING ACTIVITY

From October 1988 to 2011, actively collaborated with the Civil Law department at the University of Cagliari, assisting with exam committees, lectures, seminars, and student mentoring.

Taught Private Law and Family Law courses at the Social Work degree program in Nuoro and Cagliari.

Since 2001, has held a teaching position in Private Law at the Economics and Business Management degree program.

ACADEMIC SERVICE

Member of various committees for doctoral theses, research grants, and academic competitions.

Authored monographs, essays, and commentaries, including contributions to the Code of Sale and Code of Private Procurement, addressing topics like contractual liability, consumer law, and procedural frameworks.
