He was born in Cagliari, Italy, on 30 March 1975. He studied law at the faculties of Cagliari and Liège
(Belgium) and graduated in Law at the University of Cagliari with honours. His thesis, which was financed
with a scholarship from the Autonomous Region of Sardinia, discussed EU law and International
Cooperation.
He is proficient in French and English.


He was awarded a scholarship for research activities as part of the PhD programme in Commercial Law at
the University of Catania. He completed his doctorate by defending a thesis entitled “Il contratto preparatorio
del conferimento d’azienda”.


He obtained the National Scientific Qualification (ASN), which enabled him to assume the role of University
Associate Professor in the 12/B1 (Commercial Law) sector at Department of Economics and Business
Sciences at the University of Cagliari, where he taught courses on commercial law, financial market law,
bankruptcy law, and corporate law. He serves as an expert member of the Patent and Spin-Off Commission at
the University of Cagliari.


He was awarded the National Scientific Qualification, which enables him to hold the position of University
Full Professor in concurrence with sector 12/B1 (Commercial Law).


He contributes to the main Italian journals specialising in commercial law and is a member of the editorial
board of the journal Giurisprudenza Commerciale. He is the author of three monographic studies and
numerous essays and articles, with a focus on corporate accounting, bankruptcy law and extraordinary
finance transactions.


He is lawyer, he mainly deals with commercial, corporate and bankruptcy law. He is a regular lawyer in
bankruptcy proceedings at the Court of Cagliari and a special curator appointed by the President of the
Court. He has held the position of statutory auditor in public economic entities and of bank independent
director.
