He is President-Elect of the European College of Gerodontology and serves on the Board of the WHO/ITU/WIPO Global Initiative on AI for Health (GI-AI4H) Topic Group on Oral Health, contributing to international work on AI benchmarking, ethics, dataset quality, and global collaboration in oral health.
His academic and clinical interests include periodontology, implant dentistry, regenerative therapies, gerodontology, and the application of artificial intelligence to periodontal and radiographic diagnostics. He is an author and reviewer of publications in peer-reviewed international scientific journals, serves on the editorial boards of several journals, and regularly lectures at national and international conferences.
