Bachelor's Degree Thesis: general guidelines

The thesis will concern a topic of choice to be agreed upon with the professor at least six months before the date of the discussion. Original topics or particularly innovative experiences are not required; rather, a clear presentation of the subject is expected.

The text should preferably be between 40 and 60 pages, each containing 2000 characters including spaces.

For the formatting of the thesis, it is recommended to follow these guidelines: 

  • Font: Times New Roman;
  • Line spacing: 1.5;
  • Top margin width: 3 cm;
  • Side margins: 4 cm on the left (to allow for binding), 3 cm on the right;
  • Bottom margin width: 3 cm;
  • Justified text;
  • Body font size: 12 for regular text; 14 for paragraph titles; 16 for chapter titles; 10 for footnotes.

The table of contents (placed at the beginning of the document) should list chapters and paragraphs, with bibliography and/or webography at the end.

When applicable, images may be inserted either within the text or at the end of the document, numbered and accompanied by a caption indicating the source (original photo or extracted from books or websites). 

 

Master's Degree Thesis: general guidelines

The text should preferably be between 120 and 200 pages, each containing 2000 characters including spaces.

For the formatting of the thesis, it is recommended to follow these guidelines: 

  • Font: Times New Roman;
  • Line spacing: 1.5;
  • Top margin width: 3 cm;
  • Bottom margin width: 3 cm;
  • Side margins: 4 cm on the left (to allow for binding), 3 cm on the right;
  • Justified text;
  • Body font size: 12 for regular text; 14 for paragraph titles; 16 for chapter titles; 10 for footnotes.
