The theses will focus on topics related to the study of heterogeneous catalytic processes and selective adsorption processes of gaseous mixture components in the field of Green Chemistry. In particular, they will address the capture and chemical recycling of CO2, as well as the use of renewable raw materials of plant or animal origin for the production of chemicals. The study of catalytic processes will involve the development (synthesis, characterization, and catalytic activity) of microporous and mesoporous catalysts for the reactions of interest. The study of adsorption processes will involve the development of solid sorbents, with a particular focus on their characterization and testing to assess their adsorption capacity.
