Abstract

The volume analyses the relationship between geography and fiction adopting a particular point of view: in the foreground is the configurative territorialization as a field of artistic and emotional representation. The basic idea is that fiction represents a simulation of territoriality that is both performative and metaphorical. This simulation of territoriality is explored in some exemplary case studies, such as Mozart's opera Die Zauberflöte, Wes Anderson's cinema, Paolo Conte's songs and Gipi's graphic novels.

Il volume intende studiare il rapporto tra geografia e fiction adottando un punto di vista particolare, che mette in primo piano la territorializzazione configurativa in quanto ambito della rappresentazione artistica ed emozionale. L’idea di base è che la fiction rappresenti una simulazione di territorialità al tempo stesso performativa e metaforica. Simulazione di territorialità che è esplorata in alcuni casi studio esemplari, come l’opera Die Zauberflöte di Mozart, il cinema di Wes Anderson, le canzoni di Paolo Conte e i graphic novel di Gipi.
