Abstract
This essay revolves around the case of the “Videogiornale del DAMS occupato”, a group of students from the University of Bologna who, in 1990, during the occupation of the Pantera student movement, joined forces to inform other students and the city about what was happening in the university. The editorial staff of the Videogiornale thus gave life to a product in which a story of the movement from within the movement itself took shape. In particular, the essay emphasizes how the members of the Videogiornale bent "consumer technologies" to radical ends, thus creating their own assemblage-dispositive: in this perspective, the study intends to relate the studies of analog video with the fields of media archaeology and media ecology.| File | Size | Format | |
