Boghes. La mediazione tecnologica della voce nel canto a quattro della tradizione sarda

Abstract
The article addresses the issue of the technologically mediated voice in oral music, with the aim of reflecting on two aspects in particular. The first is the way in which the voice benefits from the 'power status' of the technological apparatus in the transition from primary to secondary orality. The second is the need to rethink the common idea that recordings of music of ethnomusicological interest are neutral reproductions of the acoustic reality captured by the microphone. The reflection on these two themes will be developed through the presentation of some case studies on the traditional Sardinian canto a quattro, still widespread in the central-northern part of Sardinia.| File | Size | Format | |
