Abstract
The essay is dedicated to studying the editorial and transmedia success of the seven volumes of the Harry Potter saga published by Joanne Rowling between 1997 and 2007, translated into eighty languages , and adapted into eight film productions. The author's narrative and editorial strategies are analyzed in parallel with the spread of the web, the birth of the fan world, and the affirmation of web marketing. The Harry Potter brand is interpreted as a global publishing case with some of its most relevant characteristics: the tradition of the college novel, the community of readers, and the production of the fandom world.| File | Size | Format | |
