Abstract
This paper examines the case of Ms. Chantilly, Musée Condé 472 (13th century), which inaugurates the so-called "Gauvain Cycle". Through the selection of a series of Arthurian romances in which the legendary grandson of King Arthur appears, the codex would in fact constitute ˗ according to the criticism ˗ a structuring force also capable of acting on the text of each of the romances, to which are significantly opposed sections of Perlesvaus and Roman de Renart.| File | Size | Format | |
