Abstract

The volume collects 19 essays that revolve around the theme of the sword that is discussed in countless respects. In fact, we move from those closest to the object itself which is seen now as a weapon, now as a "game" until we arrive at meanings that transcend the function of the object itself. Different ways and different looks to tell the thousand "hypostases" of a timeless object.
