Abstract
The article aims to assess the direct and indirect effects and limits of the repeal of the 'senatus consultum Claudianum' in Justinian’s Compilation and particularly in the 'Codex repetitae praelectionis', in order to highlight the difficult balance of the interests at stake that Justinian had to face: that of implementing the repeal, but also that of containing, in certain areas, the collateral damage to imperial interests.| File | Size | Format | |
