Abstract

This contribution aims to give a consideration on the theme of the relationship between company archives and territory, by analyzing some case studies on the production of food pasta in Italy. The examples of Barilla, Agnesi and the city of Gragnano allow us to verify how the troubled business events interfered in the preservation of the documentary heritage and on the possibility of creating a virtuous circuit of preservation-knowledge-valorization with the areas of belonging. Attempting to focus on other forms of representation - such as musealization - does not justify the dispersion of one's archives, much less the construction of narratives without feedback.
