Abstract

The essay moves from the Regional Electoral Guarantee Board measure at the Court of Appeal of Cagliari, which adopted a disqualification order against the Region of Sardinia President. It intends to examine the regulatory framework about obligations and related sanctions in the context of election campaigns for the Regional Council. It questions, in particular, the applicability of the current regulations to the President of the Region and his relationship with the form of government based on the principle simul stabunt, simul cadent.
