Abstract
Among letters or drafts of letters (handwritten and typewritten), postcards and short sentences, there are about fifteen known texts in Italian attributable to Albert Einstein. The aim of the paper is to offer a brief account of the great German scientist’s relations with Italy (from his stays in Pavia in his youth to his correspondence, many years later, with some Italian colleagues), then move on to a presentation of the manuscript (and autographed) texts in Italian, discussing their production context, and finally, on the basis of these, to draw a profile of his Italian.| File | Size | Format | |
