Abstract

Complexity deeply characterizes both pedagogy and education. In front of complexity there is always the risk of reductions and simplifications. New studies about complexity are so necessary in order to defend humanistic pedagogy. Society also is more and more dynamic, changeable and unpredictable, so it’s necessary to educate young people to complexity, that’s to acquire an open, critic and systemic thought, able to defend human rights and values of democracy.
