Abstract
The paper examines, from the perspective of agri-food law, the interpretative issues arising from national and EU legal sources concerning the blending of virgin olive oils of different qualities, which are then marketed as “extra virgin olive oil”. This is a practice commonly adopted by operators in the sector, which, however, may constitute a misleading commercial practice when it results in non-compliance with the quality requirements needed for such designation.| File | Size | Format | |
