Abstract

The article explores different elements of the decorative program (texts and images) of the tomb of Padiamenope (TT33), built in the Luxor necropolis between the end of the 25th and the beginning of the 26th dynasty (around 680-660 BC). From the entrance to the burial chamber, the tomb is divided into areas that could be defined as thematic, functional to Padiamenope's rhetorical discourse and rich in cultured references and quotations.
