An hour with a strange family by Mayy Ziyāda: brotherhood at the theatre · This short paper focuses on Sā‛a ma‛a ‛ā’ila gharība (An hour with a strange family) by Mayy Ziyāda. Published in 1922, it is one of the very first plays written by a woman in the history of Arab theatre.
