Information regarding the Master's Degree Program in Law is provided by different offices and bodies depending on the nature and type of the request. Specifically, students can contact the Student Administration Office, the Teaching Office, the Academic Manager, or the Coordinator of the Course Council
Student Administration Office
The Student Administration Office is responsible for managing students' academic careers from enrollment to graduation and beyond from an administrative perspective. It also provides information about the regulations governing university studies and the various phases of a student’s academic path
Students can obtain information about study programs, enrollment, or registration for subsequent years. The office also handles matters related to tuition fees, collects applications for study plans, career abbreviations, access to benefits for top-level athletes, and any requests for section changes, which are permitted only under concrete, objective, and specific circumstances. It issues certificates such as enrollment confirmations or diplomas, including in English. Additionally, it manages transfers to and from other universities, changes to different degree or diploma programs, and issues related to the forfeiture of student status or withdrawal from studies
Teaching Office and Academic Manager
The Teaching Office is responsible for managing and coordinating academic activities for students, such as the course calendar, class schedules, study plans, exam sessions, and tutoring. Its primary role is to ensure the proper execution of study programs, from enrollment to graduation, supporting users at every stage of their academic career
The office assists in organizing exams, including special sessions for students who benefit from specific conditions for top-level athletes. It also supports professors in planning lessons and exams, ensuring that teaching activities are conducted efficiently and in compliance with current regulations
Coordinator of the Course Council
For matters not within the competence of the Student Administration Office, the Teaching Office, or the Academic Manager, and for any reports, students can contact the Coordinator of the Course Council. For the 2024/2027 term, the Coordinator will be Prof. Luca Ancis, Associate Professor of Navigation Law
University Ombudsman for Students
The University Ombudsman for Students does not provide information but guarantees assistance and advice to students who believe their rights or interests have been harmed by abuses, dysfunctions, deficiencies, or delays attributable to measures, actions, or omissions by University of Cagliari bodies, offices, or individuals
