Nell'ambito del programma Visiting Professor 2010, finanziato dalla Regione
Autonoma della Sardegna, il Prof. Hongyu Zhang, Tsinghua University -  
Pechino (Cina) terrà un corso-seminario dal titolo "Software Quality  
Engineering" in data 6, 8, 11 Luglio 2011, ore 14.00 - 19.00 (Aula  
riunioni Dip. Ingegneria Elettrica e Elettronica, via Maglias).

Abstract:

With the rapid development of software industry, today's software is  
becoming larger and more and more complex. In the meantime, our daily  
life is increasingly dependent on software. People focus not only on  
the functional requirements of software, but also the quality aspects  
of the software. How to evaluate, assure, and improve software quality  
has become an important area of research and practice.
This short course teaches students the knowledge and skills of  
software quality engineering, including quality models, quality  
metrics, quality control, and methods for quality improvement. We  
focus on three aspects of software quality, namely software  
reliability, software reusability, and software maintainability.

The seminar sessions will be the following:

Wednesday 6 July: Software quality models and quality control
Introduction to software quality engineering, quality models, quality control.

Friday 8 July: Quality metrics and defect prediction
Quality metrics, complexity metrics, software defect prediction.

Monday 11 July: Software reusability
Software reuse, domain engineering, software product line.
