Degree Programs primarily make use of the Career Services provided by the Job Placement Office, which falls under the University’s Research and Territory Division Engagement.

The Office provides support to help students navigate their entry into the job market and build their professional path. In particular, the services offered to graduating students and graduates include:

- guidance in defining professional goals;
- advice on drafting and revising résumés and cover letters;
- support in preparing for job interviews;
- job matching services via the AlmaLaurea portal;
- information and training on job market entry opportunities;
- company meet-up days: events focused on graduate recruitment or presenting new career opportunities;
- extracurricular internships, which can be activated under agreements with the University;
- the University Career Day: the main event for connecting University of Cagliari graduates with employers.

Additional initiatives (such as meetings/seminars/workshops with companies, guided tours, etc.) may also be organized by individual Degree Programs.
