Vinicio Busacchi is full professor of theoretical philosophy. He is a member of the Doctoral Committee at the Department of Pedagogy, Psychology, and Philosophy at the University of Cagliari (Italy), a member of the interdisciplinary research group on “Psychoanalysis, Hermeneutics and Phenomenology” (LAPEF, Rome), a member of the Postgraduate Program in Philosophy at Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS) and a representative (correspondent) of the Fonds Ricoeur of Paris for Italy. He is president of the Academy of the Human and Social Sciences (A.S.U.S., Rome) and cofounder and codirector of Critical Hermeneutics. Biannual International Journal of Philosophy (ISSN 2533-1825). His research interests are focused on hermeneutics, epistemology of the social sciences, models of identity, historical knowledge and philosophy of action. He has published 24 books and more than 200 papers. He held conferences in the United States, Japan, India, Brazil, Chile, France, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Poland, Ireland, Austria, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Greece, Serbia, Iran and Italy.
