Abstract

The production of documentary films in Sardinia in the period from 2004 to 2024 offers a rich and varied panorama in which it is possible to find the different modes of documentary storytelling identified by Bill Nichols. In addition to a wealth of approaches to storytelling, it is possible to find a variety of themes that touch on different areas of contemporary life. The essay traces the essential features of the phenomenon - from the topics covered to the production methods - placing them in the framework of the international scientific debate.
