Abstract

The production of anthropological cinema in Sardinia between 2004 and 2024 can be analysed as belonging to three different levels: the cinema made by anthropologists in Sardinian universities, the production made or supported by the Istituto superiore regionale etnografico of Sardinia and, finally, that due to authors and filmmakers who, although without specific ethnographic research intentions, have achieved important anthropological results. All three levels have contributed to effectively defining the cultural changes that have taken place on the island at the beginning of the third millennium.
