Academic Resilience Among Low ESCS Students in Italy

Abstract
In Italy, academic achievement and university enrollment are strongly influenced by socioeconomic status (ESCS). However, despite these disadvantages, a subset of Low ESCS students demonstrates academic resilience by attaining high academic performance and continuing their education. This study explores the factors contributing to such resilience, with a focus on regional and school-type influences, through a multinomial modelling approach that jointly considers high school performance and university enrollment decisions.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
