Abstract
This article examines the relationship between some of Andrea Camilleri’s novels and public interventions and contemporary history. In particular, it analyzes his interpretation of Fascism and his assessment of the Mussolini regime, as well as the phenomenon of Berlusconism, drawing on the Gobettian concept of the “autobiography of the nation.” The article also focuses on the extent to which Camilleri’s biography influenced his views on the Mafia and on communism.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
