Abstract

The object of this paper is the so called “Faro Convention” (“framework Convention on the Value of Cultural Heritage for Societyof the Council of Europe”) with particular regard to the possible social innovations that it could produce on local communities.Summarizing the debate that involves a large and interdisciplinary community of scholars that deals with cultural heritage, thiswork is aimed to focus on some practical case studies sited on the complex Marina neighborhood in Cagliari.
