Abstract
This work describes an innovative vineyard management technology that includes advanced sensors for leaf water status detection, a weather station for environmental data collecting along with effective LoRa communication network for continuous data transmission. Over the course of three months, the research was conducted at a vineyard in the southwestern area of Sardinia, exposing the platform to realistic outdoor conditions. The platform performed efficiently, reaching 58% of its normal operating capacity. The sensing devices have shown significant ability in detecting plant water stress levels for different plant types, creating a solid foundation for further optimization toward developing into real-time decision-making system for irrigation scheduling.| File | Size | Format | |
