Research projects

The research areas characterizing the PhD program encompass a broad spectrum of methodologies and procedures for analysis, evaluation, and engineering development, which are applied to the design, implementation, and management of industrial systems and products.

During the doctoral program, the PhD candidate, working under the supervision of their supervisor and co-supervisor, will design and develop an original research project that contributes to the advancement of knowledge and analytical methodologies within the relevant field of study. Throughout the research activities, the continuous development of the candidate’s autonomy in research will be actively encouraged and supported, with the aim of enabling the candidate to independently plan and design a specific research program.
