The PhD training programme includes a series of third-cycle courses specifically offered within the PhD programme and designed to support the research activities envisaged by the doctoral project.

The courses offered by the PhD programme are third-level courses established specifically within the programme, which:
a) are approved annually by the Doctoral Board;
b) require compulsory attendance and the successful completion of a final assessment, certified by the course instructors;
c) are evaluated by participating doctoral candidates through procedures defined by the Doctoral Board.

In addition to specialised courses in the industrial sector, interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary training activities are also provided, in order to comply with the training requirements set out in Article 4, paragraph 1, of Ministerial Decree No. 308/2021.
