The University Library System (S.B.A.) comprises a coordinated network of library facilities, with the institutional aim of supporting teaching and research activities carried out at the University of Cagliari through the rationalisation, promotion and development of library services.

Its purpose is to develop and organise, in a coordinated manner, the functions of acquisition, preservation and use of the library and documentary heritage, as well as the processing and dissemination of information.

Structure of the University Library System:

    University Library Committee (CAB), a collegial governing body; Directorate for Library Services and Museum Activities, responsible for management and coordination; 4 District Libraries, organised into sections / service points
