How to register an account with NILDE for managing document requests
During the authentication and registration stages, users from the University of Cagliari must use their institutional account credentials and the IDEM-GARR federated authentication services
First-time access to NILDE
Go to the NILDE homepage: https://nilde.bo.cnr.it
Select the “Istituzionale IDEM-GARR” login button

Selecting your provider
Select your “Home Organisation” (University of Cagliari),
and also the option: “Remember this selection for this session”.
Entering credentials
The UniCA login page will appear
Log in using your institutional username and password (U-Gov credentials for teaching and administrative staff, and ESSE3 credentials for students).
If you have already registered for the Nilde-Utenti services at your library, you may proceed with your document delivery request. Otherwise, please register.
Registration for services
To register for the first time with Nilde-users, click on ‘Registration’
Selecting a library
From the list of NILDE libraries in the UniCA Library System, select the library to which you are registered and wish to submit requests for articles
Registration details
Enter the required details. Some fields are pre-filled.
In particular, please pay attention to the mandatory fields: telephone number, email address, title, department/institute.
