Rules for using the reading room between 8.00 pm and 11.00 pm
The reading room is available, on a trial basis, for group study involving conversation and discussion. To use the room in small groups between 8.00 pm and 11.00 pm, you must book the service during normal library opening hours and no later than 7.00 pm on the day of use.
Eligibility: registered library users
Duration and opening hours: 8.00 pm to 11.00 pm
How to book:
Bookings can be made by emailing biblioing@unica.it, stating your first name, surname, user ID, the day and the number of people in the group, or by completing the form available at the library reception desk.
Groups can consist of between 2 and 6 people.
How to use the service:
A maximum of 4 groups of 6 persons will be permitted access at any one time. Upon booking, the group leader must present a form of identification (student ID card, identity card, driving licence) and sign the attendance register. The group leader will be responsible for supervising the room. The group leader will be responsible for ensuring the room is used correctly and must immediately report any issues that arise to the security staff on duty.
Responsibility:
All users undertake to use the service correctly. The room must be kept clean and tidy: in particular, smoking, writing on the desks, moving chairs and consuming food and drink (with the exception of water) are prohibited. Rubbish must be disposed of in the appropriate recycling bins.
The library accepts no liability for any damage resulting from the improper use of the room or the failure to look after personal belongings.
Sanctions:
Users found to have breached these regulations will be excluded, either temporarily or permanently, from accessing the library’s services in accordance with University regulations and current legal provisions.
